BIO

Born in Switzerland to Dutch parents, sharpened for 26 years in Australia, and operating in North America for the last 40+ years, René Brandon is what happens when global experience, old-school values, and a refusal to be ordinary all collide at full speed.

Some call him a Renaissance man. He won’t argue, but he also won’t slow down long enough to confirm.

He’s built, scaled, flipped, and resurrected companies across five decades, moving effortlessly between “bricks and mortar” and software tech like it’s just another Tuesday. Sales from $500K to $125M. Teams of 500 to 1,200 across the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Over 300 transactions deep in M&A, joint ventures, and financial restructurings, he doesn’t just close deals, he rewires entire businesses while everyone else is still opening spreadsheets.

Former CEO, President, VP/GM at GE, Xerox, Eaton, and TransFirst, he climbed the corporate ladder fast, then started carrying it with him just in case. Fortune 500 or scrappy founder on the brink, he speaks both languages fluently: boardroom strategy and survival-mode execution.

René provides executive management, consulting, advisory, mentoring, and financial services to business owners and entrepreneurs as a professional M&A Advisor and Licensed Broker, but titles don’t quite cover it. He’s a hands-on operator, a strategist with a bias for action, and the kind of leader who actually means it when he says “results-oriented.”

Also, he wakes up at 3:17am for no clear reason except the sense that something somewhere could be optimized. Coffee isn’t consumed, it’s deployed. He will absolutely open 12 tabs to research something minor and emerge hours later with unexpected expertise and a completely reworked plan.

He has beef with inefficiency. Systems fear him. Turnarounds are his sport.

A feminist with eclectic tastes, equal parts numbers and nuance, he believes integrity isn’t optional and people should be treated with respect and dignity. He’ll outthink you, outwork you, and still make sure everyone at the table gets heard.

His life? Held together by experience, instinct, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

Lives in Lakewood Ranch, Florida with his wife, where he’s either planning the next move, mentoring the next generation, or quietly wondering why something that should take five minutes somehow takes five meetings.

Part executive. Part operator. Part global anomaly.
